You’ll find them on a label on the left inside wall of the
hood. These numbers are also on the Consumer Product
Ownership Registration Card that came with your hood.

Your hood is equipped with two grease filters.
When the fan is operated, air is drawn through the two
filters and discharged to the outside.
CAUTION-before operating the hood:
Remove the tape that holds the grease filters in place
during shipment.
Remove the lamp shield, install the lamp bulbs (not
provided), and replace the lamp shield. See on page 2.

BLOWER CONTROLS.
A slide control lets
you
turn
GREASE FILTERS.
Hood efficiency depends on
the blower on and off. An infinite-speed slide
;ontrol
lets you select blower speed. Setting “l” provides
lowest speed, “6” provides highest. When the blower
goes off, the blower speed control stays at the selected
setting until you reset it.

LIGHT
LIGHT CONTROL.
A three-position slide control
lets you turn the light on and off. First position turns
on both bulbs for normal
lighting.
Second position
I
turns off the left-hand
bulb~so
i~it’s
a 75-watt bulb and
the other one is a 25-watt bulb, you have a night light
system. Third position turns both bulbs off.

To install bulbs:
Disconnect power to hood by
removing fuse or switching circuit breaker off. Press
sides of flexible lamp shield to release the locking tabs
and allow the shield to swing down. After installing
bulbs, push lamp shield up and press sides until tabs
lock into slots above. Then reconnect power to hood.
Do not install bulbs rated higher than 75 watts.
CAUTION:
Let the lamp cool completely before
removing. A warm or hot bulb may break if
touched with a moist cloth or hand.

SHOULD BE CLEANED AT LEAST ONCE A
MONTH.
Never operate hood without filters in place.
To remove:
Grasp filter tab and (1) lift filter up into
recess at top of
filter
channel, (2) swing bottom of
filter out and (3) remove filter.
To
clean:
Soak and then agitate in a hot detergent
solution. Brush lightly to remove
imbedded soil.
Rinse, shake and remove moisture before replacing.
To replace:
With filter tab toward outside and bottom,
grasp tab, fit filter into channel and swing it into place.
HOOD.
Clean grease laden surfaces frequently with a
warm detergent solution. Use a mild detergent solution
to clean
Dainted
surfaces. DO NOT USE ABRASIVE
CLtiH;
STEEL WOOL PADS, OR SCOURING
POWDERS. Vacuum blower to clean it—never
immerse it in water.
CAUTION:
Be certain you do not touch lamp
bulb with either a moist cloth or wet hand. A
warm or hot lamp bulb may break if touched
with a moist surface. ALWAYS let lamp cool
COMPLETELY before cleaning around it.
