1. Topreventgum fromforminginfuel systemor on carburetor
parts,runengineuntilit stopsfromlackof fuel oradda gasoline
additiveto thegas in thetank. If youuse agas additive,run the
enginefor severalminutesto circulatethe additivethroughthe
carburetor--afterwhichthe engineandfuel canbe storedup to
24months.
2. Whileengineis stillwarm,changethe oil.
3. Cleanengineof surfacedebris.

• Cleanandlubricatemowerthoroughlyas describedinthe lubrica-
tion instructions.
• Donot usea pressurewasheror gardenhoseto cleanyour unit.
• Coatmower'scuttingbladewithchassisgreaseto prevent
rusting.
• Referto PREPARINGTHE ENGINEfor correctenginestorage
instructions.
• Store mowerin a dry,cleanarea. Do notstorenexttocorrosive
materials,suchas fertilizer.
Whenstoringany typeof powerequipmentin a poorlyventilatedor
metalstorageshed,care shouldbe takento rust-prooftheequipment.
Usinga lightoil orsilicone,coatthe equipment,especiallycablesand
all movingpartsof yourlawnmowerbeforestorage.
