Neither bottle
emptying.
Unit is not level
Bottle cap plunger
missing post in bottom
of cabinet
• Dirty wicks.
Ensure unit is placed on level area
• Check orientation of bottles.
Reposition so that bottle cap
plunger (stem) is depressed by
post in bottom of cabinet.
Change to fresh new wick.
Bottles continue to
empty after complete
filling.
• Air is entering water
bottle.
Check valve assembly caps to
ensure tightness.
Check for leak in water bottle.
Left bottle not
emptying.
• Right bottle contains
water.
This is normal for initial
filling
The humidifier is designed so that
right bottle empties first.
Ensure unit is level.
Refill bottle for maximum
run time.
Refill display “F” is on
before bottles are
empty.
• Unit is not set up on a
level surface. (Float
will not sense water at
the front of the cabinet.)
Position unit level. (Some carpet
padding may allow unit to sit lower
in the front than rear with the
additional weight of water bottles in
the front of the cabinet.
“CF” message does
not appear even when
wick is dirty or
humidifier performance
is clearly reduced.
• Loss of power or a
power failure has caused
the CF message to
prematurely reset.
• Replace wick.
Display blinks or fan
moves slightly when
humidifier is plugged in.
• Normal
• No action required.
Alternating “F” and
room humidity
displayed.
Bottles are empty.
Float is not engaging
switch lever
• Fill humidifier with water.
Reposition chassis or replace float.
Alternating “CFand
room humidity
displayed.
Wick may be dirty.
• Replace wick, if needed.
• Unplug unit for 30 seconds.
then plug in again to clear

Display flashes “20” ROOM Humidity is lower
than 20%.
Will read actual humidity when level
comes up to 25%.
Display flashes ”—“ Unit initiating.
Room humidity is over
90%.
Room humidity will display after
initiation is complete.
Will remain until humidity drops
below 90%.
