Serving size – 3 cups / 24 grams / 0.75 quarts of popped popcorn
• Volume of popped popcorn will vary depending on the type, quality and freshness of the corn.
The chart above is approximating the volumes required to pop fresh, gourmet, yellow popcorn.
White popcorn or less fresh popcorn may generate a smaller quantity of popped popcorn.
Types of Oil
Any kind of vegetable oil is suitable for popping (corn, soybean, peanut, canola). Butter, margarine, shortening,
lard, and extra virgin olive oil should not be used as the burn easily.
To Pop Additional Batches of Popcorn
1. Empty the fresh popped corn into a different serving bowl so you can reuse the lid to pop morekernels.
2. Allow 10 minutes between popping cycles to allow the Stir Stick Popcorn Maker to cool completely.
3. Following all of the Operating Instructions.
User Maintenance Instructions
This appliance requires little maintenance. It contains no user serviceable parts.
Do not try to repair it yourself. Any servicing requiring disassembly other than cleaning must beperformed by a
qualied appliance repair technician.
Care & Cleaning Instructions
NOTE: The Popcorn Maker should be cleaned after every use.
1. Unplug Stir Stick Popcorn Maker and allow to cool before cleaning.
2. Wash the clear Stir Stick Popcorn Maker lid and plastic lid cap in warm, soapy water. Use a soft cloth or
kitchen sponge. Rinse and dry thoroughly.
WARNING: To prevent scratching, never use abrasive scouring pads, steel wool, orscouringpowders.
3. Wash the rotating rod and securing knob with warm, soapy water using a soft cloth or sponge.
Rinse thoroughly and dry.
4. Clean the base’s non-stick popping chamber with a slightly soapy cloth, sponge
or nylon-scouring pad. Wipe with a clean damp cloth and dry thoroughly.
5. After consistent use, the non-stick nish may discolor. To remove discoloration, use a soft cloth saturated
with lemon juice or vinegar and apply to the nish. Then wipe the nish with a damp cloth and dry.
CAUTION: Never place the Stir Stick Popcorn Maker’s clear lid, plastic lid cap, or rotating rod inthedishwasher.
Never immerse the Stir Stick Popcorn Maker base, cord or plug in water or other liquid.
Storing Instructions
1. Unplug unit and allow to cool.
2. Fix the lid cap to the top of the lid.
3. Nest the clear Stir Stick Popcorn Maker base into the clear lid.
4. Store the Stir Stick Popcorn Maker in its box or in a clean, dry place.
5. Any other servicing should be performed by an authorized service representative.
