Ifthe TOASTING function is operat-
ing in the upper oven when lower
oven BAKEpad and temperatureare

WAIT. At the end of the delay the
loweroven will startautomatically.
CONVECTBAKING

Asa generalrule, when convection
baking, set the oven temperature
25° F lower than the conventional
recipe or prepared mix directions.
Bakingtimewill bethesametoafew
minutes lessthan directions.
To recall the set temperature during
preheatpressthe BAKE pad.
To change oven temperature during
cooking, press the BAKE pad and the
appropriatenumber pads.
Allow4-8 minutesfor the upperoven to
preheat. Allow 10-16 minutes for the
lowerovento preheat,
I Allow at least 1h-inch between the
baking pan or casserole and the top
elementin theupperoven.Loaf,angel
foodorbundtpansarenotrecommended
inthe upperoven.
: I Donot usetemperatures below I40° F
to keep food warm or below 200 ° F for

The back part of the loweroven bake
element wil! NOT glow red during
baking.This isnormal.
When bakingfrozen, self-rise pizzas in
the upper oven, place the pizza on a
cookie sheet to avoidoverbrowning.
When roastingmeat usingthe con-
vectionsetting, roastingtimes may
beup to30% less. (Maintainconven-
tional roastingtemperatures.)

BROILING

HI broil isused for most broiling. Use
LO broil when broiling longer cooking
foodstoallowthemto cooktowelldone
stage withoutexcessive browning.
