ENGINEOIL
Drainoil(withengine warm) and replace with
dean engine oil. (See "ENGINE" in the
Maintenance section ofthis manual).
CYUNDER
• Remove spark plug.
• Pourone ounce (29 ml) of oilthrough spark
plug hole intocylinder.
• Pullstarter handle slowlya few times to
distributeoil.
• Replace with new spark plug.
OTHER
• Do not storegasoline from one season to
another.
• Replace yourgasolinecan ifyourcan starts
to rusL Rust and/or dirtinyour gasoline will
cause problems.
• Ifpossible, store your unitindoorsand cover
it togive protectionfrom dust and dirL
• Cover yourunitwith a suitable protective
cover thatdeas not retain moisture. Do not
use plastic. Plasticcannot breathe which
allowscondensationtoform and will cause
yourunittorust.
IMPORTANT: Never cover mowerwhile
engine and exhaust areas are still warm.
ACAUTION: Never store the lawn
mower with gasoline in the tank inside a
building where fumes may reach an open
flame or spark. Allow the engine to cool
before storing in any enclosure.
