MUFFLER
Inspectand replace corroded muffler as it
could create a fire hazard and/or damage.
SPARK PLUG
Change your spark plug each year to make
yourengine start easier and runbetter. Set
spark plug gap at .030 inch.
CLEANING
IMPORTANT: For best performance, kiip
mower housing free ofbuilt-grassand trash.
Clean the underside ofyour mower alter each
use.
ACAUTION: Disconnectspark plugwire
lrom spark plug and place wire where itcannot
come in contact withthe spark plug.
• Turn lawn mower on itsside. Make sure air
filter and cadouretorare up. Clean the
underside of yourlawn mower byscraping
to remove build-upofgrass and trash.
• Clean engine oftento keep trash from
accumulaltng. A clogged engine runshotter
and shortens engine life.
• Keep finished surfaces and wheels free of
all gasoline, oil,etc.
• We do not recommend using a garden
hose to clean lawn mower unlessthe
electrical system, muffler,air filterand
ca_ouretorare covered to keep water out.
Water in engine can resultin shortened
engine life.
