Note Adapter (C) orientation:
l/2-incb Installation--Rounded end of adapter(C)connects to coupling(D),then to
existing faucet tubing (B).
3/8-incb Installation--Rounded endof adapter (C)connects tosupply valve (A).

contiguration. Be sure the g+askets ((',) are ill place Ix'tore/inal
assemblx. Start insmllatkm t)v hand, then finish tightening with
a(!justalde D+rFelI(h. Be careful not to overtighten or cross thread
as damage to threads may occur.
5. Hand tighten assembh'd adapter (C) onto supply va]%c (A) Ibr
the ])rot)or size installation. Be sure the gaskets ((;), as shown ill
Fig. 1, are in ])lace before final assembl}. Finish tightening with
a(!iustable v,ren(h. Be careful not to overtighten or cross thread
as damage to threads may occur.
6. Rccomlect /hmet tubing line (B) to top o] adapter (C).
Z Remove mlt and terrule fl:om end ot inlet wdve. Using the 4 tbet
of tubing t)rovided, t)lace the nut (I) and t_'rrule (tt) onto the
tubing and install onto inlet _al_e (F) as shown in Fig. 2. Tighten
with adjustalfle wrench.
NOTE: Inspect theends of the tubing to besure thereare no imperfections aM
endof tubing is cut square. It may benecessary tocut the tubing again.
B. OPTIONAL HOME INSTALLATION
(Where codes permit)--Saddle Valve: Saddle valve must be able
to connect with I/4@@ tubing supplied with system.
Not suppfied with product; check your local hardware or home service
store for product
For I/2" OD or larger metal tubing only.
NOTE: Codes in the state of Massachusetts require installation by a
licensed plumber and do not permit the use of the saddle valve. For
installation, use plmnbing code 248-CMR of the Commonwealth of
Massachusetts.
1. Turn o/t the cold _r_lt(']_supply and install saddle val_e as required
1)yproduct selection. (Be sm:e to/ollow mamdimmrers' installation
instrttctions.)
DANGER:If hole is required to be drilled in pipe, to protect
yourself from serious injury or fatal shock, use a battery powered hand
drill only to make the hole. DO NOT USE AN ELECTRIC DRILL.

C. OPTIONAL INSTALLATION
(For installation with rigid pipe between supply valve and sink faucet)
Option I

3. Install flexible pipe.
4. Go back to A. Pre/brred Installation section step 4.
Option 2

2. ()l)tain any other fitlil/g_ required to c(mnect compression fittings
to adapte]:
NOTE: Adapter has I/2-inch and 3/8-inch internal and external Nreads.

5. Aprietc a lmmO el adal)tador cnsamblado (C) ('n la _il_ula de
suministro (A) para instala(idn del tamaho (orre(to. Cer(i6rese
de que los eml)aques (G), (omo aparecen en la Fig. 1, est('n en
su lugar antes del ensamblado tinal. Termine de apretar con mla
lla'_e @tstat)le. Tonga cuidado de no apretar en exceso o a
travesdelas roscasya que sepodrianda_ar.
6. Vta'lva a (()nectar la tul)crfa dcl gri/o (B) a la partc superior
dcl adaptador (C).
Z Retire la tuerca v la ff'rula del extreme de la wilvula de entrada.
tlsando los 4 pies de mberfa que se suministran, (oloque la tuerca
(I) y la/_'rula (It) en la tuberfa e insmle en la wilvula de entrada (F)
come se muestra en la Fig. 2. Apriete (on la lla\e @_stable.
NOTA: Inspeccione losextremes de/a tuberfapara vedficarque no baya
impeffecciones y el corte de/extreme dela tuberfasea cuadrado.Podrfaser
necesado cortar /a tuberfanuevamente.
INSTALACI6N OPCIONAL ENELHOGAR
(Donde Io permitan los c6digos)--V_lvula de asiento: La v_lvula de asiento
debe poder conectarse con el tube de I/4 de pulgada suministrado con
el sistema.
No se smninistra con el producto; consulte en la ferreteria local o tienda
de servicios para el hogar.
Pare tuberia metMica de l/Z" D.E. o mas grande unicamente.
NOTA: Los c6digos del estado de Massachusetts exigen la instalaci6n
per parte de un plomere con licencia y no pennite el use de una vMvula
de asiento. Pare la instalacion, utilice el c6digo de plomeria 248-CMR
del estado de Massachusetts.
