efore using, wipe well with a dry
cloth to removesurface dust.
Saturate a clean cioth with minerai
oii and poiish aii exposed wood
surfaces untii they gieam. Aiiow
wood top to stand overnight to
absorb the oii and repeatthe
treatment the next day.Aiiow to
stand for 4 to 6 hours and wipe off
excess oii with a soft, dry cioth.
Wood tops shouid not be used as
a piace for thawing frozen foods,
evenwhen protected by a sheet of
aiuminum foii. Never iet water
stand on the wood top.
Toremove water stains, rub with a
cioth saturated with non-toxic
minerai oii (avaiiabie at most drug
stores).
Shouid your top become too
stained, dirty or cut, sand with
#000(150)or#0000(220)sandpaper
and then wipe with a cioth satu-
rated with non-toxic minerai oii.

water backing up into it if a drain
ciogs. The air gap is not a part of
the dishwasher. And you may not
even haveone. Not aii piumbing
codes require air gaps.
if you have an air gap, check it at

The air gap is easy to clean. With
most types, first turn off the dish-
washer, then lift off the chrome
cover. Then unscrew the plastic
cap and check for any buiid-up of
grit. A toothpick makes cieaning
easy.

unused in an unheated iocation
during the winter months, havea
service technician take the
foilowing steps to prevent the
machine from freezing:
Removefuses or trip circuit
breakersto removeeiectric
power from the dishwasher.
Turnoff water to dishwasher.
Disconnect the water iniet line
from the water vaive and drain.
Removewater vaive from the
dishwasher and blow on small
piastic outlet to remove water.
Repiace water vaive and water
line.
Remove piug in bottom of rubber
boot and”drain completely.
Repiace the plug.
