Line Rem oval: When Bla ck and W h it e im age m ode is
select ed on t he [ I m age ] t ab, the [ Line Re m oval] option will
be enabled. Line Rem oval erases lines on t he im age and t hen
reconst ructs characters so t he OCR ( Opt ical Character
Recognit ion) accuracy can be im proved.
Choices: N one, For m , H orizont a l, Vert ical
N on e – t he default m ode which does not rem ove any line.
For m – rem ove any form in t he docum ent .
Horiz ont al – select [ H orizont a l] and then enter t he length of
horizont al line t o rem ove only t he horizont al line exceeding
your specified lengt h.
Ve rt ical – select [ Vert ica l] and t hen ent er the length of
vert ical line t o rem ove only t he vert ical line exceeding your
specified lengt h.
