Using
the Master
Light switch
This feature turns off the lights in the fiesh
food and fieezer compartments.
The switch is located behind the grille panel
at the top of the refligeratot, I,ift tap the panel
to access the switch.
Theswitch is located
behindthegrille panel.
Type 1 bulb
replacement
NOTE: Before replacing the bulbs, review
the light bulb information and X_RNING
on page 20.
Replacing Type 1 bulbs located in lamps
behind the top pan in the fresh food
compartment and the bottom freezer basket
in the freezer compartment:

Set the Master Ifight switch to the OFF
position (see Using the Master Light sT_ritch)
and allow the lamps to cool.
To access the lamps in the flesh food
compartment, remove the top pan.

To access the lamps in the fleezer
compartment, remove the bottom fleezer
basket. See Freezer Baskets section.

On the back wall there is a curved light
shield. Grasp each end of the light shield.
Pull the shield toward you and the robs
on the shield will release flom the slots in
the housing.
Remove the glass above the bulbs by pulling
it straight out.
NOTE: Ahvays follow bulb manufacturer's
directions for handling and replacing bulbs.
5. Remove the bulb by holding the base and
pulling straight tap. Replace with a new bulb.
6. Replace the glass by sliding it into place.
Then replace the light shield by resting the
top lip of the shield on top of the light
housing. Then press the sides until the tabs
pop into the slots in the housing.
WARNING - Shelight shield must
be replaced or the heat from the bulb could
damage the refligeratot.
AVERTISSEMENT :

7. Reset the Master Ifight switch to the ON
position.
