Troubleshooting Tips
Save time and moneg! Review the charts on the
following pages first and gou mag not need to call for
service.
Possible Cause What To Do
Not draining Load is out of balance • Redistributeclothes and run drain & spin or rinse& spin.
Not spinning • Increaseload sizeif washing small loadcontaining heavy
Not agitating and light items.
Pump clogged • Seepage !] on how to clean the Pump Filter.
Drain hose is kinked or • Straighten drain hose and make sure washer is not
improperly connected sitting on it.
Household drain mug • Check household plumbing. You mag need to call
be clogged a plumber.
Drain hose siphoning; drain hose • Ensurethere is an air gap between hose and drain.

Leaking water Door gasket is damaged • Check to see if gasket is seated and not torn. Objects
left in pockets mag cause damage to the washer (nails,
screws, pens, pencils).
Door gasket not damaged • Water mag drip from the door when the door is opened.
Thisis a normal operation.
Carefullgwipe off rubber door seal. Sometimesdirt or
clothing is left inthis seal and can cause a small leak.
Check back left of washer • If this area iswet, you have oversudsing condition.

Fill hoses or drain hose is • Hake sure hose connections are tight at washer and
improperlg connected faucets and make sure end of drain hose is correctlg
inserted in and securedto drain facilitg.
Household drain mag • Check household plumbing. You mag need to call
be clogged a plumber.
Dispenser clogged • Powder soap mag cause clogs inside the dispenser and
cause water to leak out the front of the dispenser.Remove
drawer and clean both drawer and inside of dispenser box.

Incorrect use of detergent • UseHEand correct amount of detergent.
Dispenser box crack • If new installation,check for crack on insideof dispenserbox.
Clothes too wet Load is out of balance • Redistributeclothes and run drain & spin or rinse& spin.
• Increaseload sizeif washing small loadcontaining heavg
and light items.
The machine will slow the spin speed down to 410 rpm if
it has a hard time balancing the load.This speedis normal.
Seepage !] on how to clean the Pump Filter.
The drg weight of the load should be lessthen 16 lb.
Straighten drain hose and make sure washer is not
sitting on it.
