GENERAL RECOMiVIENDATIONS
The warranty on this tractor does notcover
items that have been subjectedto operator
abuse or negligence. To receive full value
from the warranty, operator must maintain
tractor as instructedin this manual. Some
adjustments will need to be made periodi-
cally to properlymaintainyour tractor.
All adjustmentsin the Service and
Adjustments section of this manual should
be checked at least once each season.
,, Once a year you should replace the
spark plug, clean or replace air filter, and
check blades and beltsfor wear. A new
spark plug and clean air filter assure
proper air-fuel mixtureand help your
engine run better and last longer.

IMPORTANT: Do not oil or grease the
pivot points which have special nylon bear-
ings. Viscous lubricants will attract dust
and dirt that will shorten the Lifeof the self-
lubricating bearings, if you feel they must
be lubricated,use only a dry. powdered
graphite type lubricantsparingly.
