GENERAL RECOMMENDATIONS
The warranty on thislawn mower does not
cover itemsthat have been subjected to
operatorabuse or negligence. To receive full
value from the warranty, operator must
maintainmower as instructedin this manual.
Some adjustmentswill need to be made
periodically to properly maintain your unit.
All adjustments inthe Service end Adjust-
ments section of this manual should be
checked at least once each season.
Once a year, replace the spark plug,
replaceair filter element and check blade for
wear. A new spark plug and clean/new air
filter element assures proper air-fuelmixture
and helps your engine runbetter and last
longer.
Followthe maintenance schedule in this
manual.
BEFORE EACH USE
Check engine oil level.
Check for loosefasteners.

IMPORTANT: Do not oilor grease plastic
wheel bearings. Viscous lubricantswill
attract dust and dirtthat willshortenthe
lifeof the serflubricatingbearings. Ifyou
feel they must be lubricated,use onlya
dry, powdered graphitetype lubricant
sparingly.
