WARNING
Failure to position the logs in accordance with these diagrams or failure to use only logs specifi cally approved
with this appliance may result in property damage or personal injury.
Logs must be placed in their exact location in the appliance. Do not modify the proper log positions, since
appliance may not function properly and delayed ignition may occur.
The logs are fragile and should be handled with care.
note:
Ensure the left support tab and the two right
support tabs are bent down to ensure the front
burner fl ame does not get sucked beneath the
front log.
note:
The ember screen frame has a minimal adjustment distance. When heating with propane, ensure the ember
screen is secured as close to the rear of the fi rebox as possible (Fig. 1). This will ensure the log's distance from
the fl ames, and prevent excess carbon and soot. When heating with natural gas, ensure the ember screen is
secured as close to the glass door as possible (Fig. 2). This will ensure the log's placement over the fl ames, and
create a glowing effect on the log.
