The water bowl must be lled with water
before operation.
Observe the specications in the water
bowl for the minimum and maximum
lling level (see gure14).
The minimum lling level must not be
exceeded.

Correct insertion of the heating element with control box
Make sure that the heating element with the control box is correctly placed in the
intended position in the appliance.
The strut, between the two heaters, should rest on the intended position in the water
bowl. The control box has a circuit breaker so that the appliance can only be operated
when the heating element with the control box is in the correct position.
Power supply
Now plug the power plug into an earthed socket provided for this purpose. The
connecting cable must not come into contact with hot parts of the grill.
The appliance is now ready to be put into operation.
Disconnect the power plug:
• after each use
• before each cleaning
• before each lling with water
• in case of malfunctions during operation.
Note: When using a cable drum, there is a loss of power. Only use cable drums that
are also suitable for outdoor use. Unwind the cable completely from the cable drum,
as otherwise the cable drum may heat up excessively.
