OPERATION
Note: Do not operate the appliance without an inserted air lter! Without the air
lter, the inside of the appliance will be heavily contaminated. This could reduce the
performance and result in damage to the appliance.
Behaviour in the event of an emergency
1. Switch off the appliance.
2. In an emergency, disconnect the unit from the power supply. Always pull the mains
plug out of the socket by the plug and not by the cable.
3. Do not reconnect a defective appliance to the mains supply.
Start-up
• Do not use the air cooler near curtains or other ammable materials and objects.
Keep a minimum distance of 0.5 m from walls, equipment and objects.
• Keep doors and windows closed when the appliance is in operation.
Switch on the appliance
• Press the On/Off button to start the appliance when it is in standby or when a
timer is set.
• Once started, the appliance runs at medium wind speed by default (the
corresponding indicator light is off). After 3 seconds the appliance will switch to
standard wind speed (low wind speed) or run at the stored wind speed.
• When the appliance is switched on for the rst time, it runs at low wind speed in
normal wind mode by default.
• Press the On/Off button to switch off the appliance during operation.
• When you switch off the appliance, the settings already made are saved, except for
the timer function.
• If you unplug the power cord or in the event of a power failure, the memory will be
cleared.
Oscillation mode
This function can be selected if the appliance is already switched on or a timer has been
set.
• Press the Oscillation mode button to start the function. Press the Oscillation
mode button again to turn it off.
• The Oscillation mode function is saved.
