Cleaning of brewing head, sieve holder and sieve
1. Switch off the device completely by pressing the switch on the side. Then remove the
plug from the socket.
2. Wait for the heated metal parts on the machine to cool down.
3. Remove the sieve holder and dispose of the coffee grounds or used coffee pad.
Wash the sieve holder and the lter with warm soapy water and rinse the parts with
clean water. Do not wash the sieve holder and lters in the dishwasher.
4. Wipe the lower part of the brewing head on the machine with a damp cloth or
paper towel to remove any remaining coffee grounds.
5. Replace the sieve holder (without lters) on the machine‘s brewing head.
6. Place a large empty cup under the sieve holder.
7. Turn the machine back on, press the espresso button once and let the machine brew
with water only until it stops automatically.
Cleaning the water tank
Dispose of the remaining water by removing the tank and emptying it into the sink. It is
recommended to empty the tank between applications. Wash the water tank with soapy
water, rinse it well and wipe it dry. The water tank is dishwasher safe.
Cleaning the surfaces of the appliance
Wipe the housing with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring
sponges as these can scratch the surface.
Do not attach the sieve holder to the brewing unit for storage for long periods. This
can affect the seal between the brewing head and the sieve holder.
Do not immerse the appliance in water.
