Adjusting time settings
When you set up your TV for the first time, the clock
was set up. If the power is disconnected or you
move your TV to a different time zone, you need to
reset the clock to the correct time.
Setting the clock
To set the clock:
1 Press MENU. The on-screen menu opens.
2 Press

to highlight SETUP, then press
T
or
ENTER. The SETUP menu opens.
3 Press
S
or
T
to highlight Time Setup, then
press ENTER. The SETUP · TIME SETUP menu
opens.
4 Press
S

to highlight Date/Time, then press
ENTER. The SETUP · TIME SETUP · DATE/TIME
menu opens.
5 Press

to highlight Mode, then press
ENTER. A menu opens.
6 Press

to highlight Manual (to set the
options manually) or Auto (the options are
automatically set by the TV signal source), then
press ENTER.
7 Press

to highlight Time Zone, then press
ENTER.
8 Press

to select your time zone, then press
ENTER. You can select Eastern, Central,
Mountain, Pacific, Alaska, Hawaii, Atlantic, or
Newfoundland.
9 If your viewing area observes Daylight Saving
Time, press
S

T
to highlight
Daylight Saving, then press ENTER.
10 Press
S

T
to select On or Off, then press
ENTER to close the menu.
11 If you selected Manual for Mode:
Press

to highlight Year, Month, or Day,
then press
X
to access the setting. Press
S

T
to adjust the setting, then press ENTER.
Press

to highlight Time, then press
X
to
access the setting. Press
W
or
X
to highlight
the hour, minute, or AM/PM field, then press
S

T
to adjust the setting. When you are
finished, press ENTER.
12 Press MENU to return to the previous menu, or
press EXIT to close the menu.
