Troubleshooting-Continued
• You’re not pointing the remote controller at the PD-30AE/PD-10AE’s remote sensor. Point the remote
controller at the PD-30AE/PD-10AE’s remote sensor (page 11).
• You’re too far away from the PD-30AE/PD-10AE. Move the remote controller closer to the PD-30AE/PD-
10AE (page 11). The remote controller has a range of approximately 5 meters (16 ft.).
• A strong light source is interfering with the PD-30AE/PD-10AE’s remote sensor. Make sure that the PD-
30AE/PD-10AE is not subjected to direct sunshine or inverter-type fluorescent lights. Relocate if neces-
sary.
• If the PD-30AE/PD-10AE is installed in a cabinet with colored glass doors, the remote controller may not
work reliably when the doors are closed. Open the doors, or use a cabinet without colored glass.
