#1 How to charge my Phillips Sonicare Toothbrush ?

Charging your Philips Sonicare Toothbrush with a standard charger
Follow these instructions:
Plug the charger in a live outlet
Place the toothbrush handle on the charger
The battery indicator will start flashing* to indicate that your toothbrush is charging and will stop flashing when your toothbrush is fully charged. This can take up to 24 hours.
You can always keep your Philips Sonicare Toothbrush on a plugged-in charger between brushing. This will not affect the battery lifespan of your toothbrush.

*Note: DailyClean 1100 does NOT have a battery light indicator.

Follow these instructions on how to charge your toothbrush with a charging glass or charging stand.
Place your toothbrush handle in the charging glass or stand and place it on the charging base
Plug the charging base in an outlet

The battery indicator* stops flashing when your toothbrush is fully charged. It can take up to 24 hours before your toothbrush is fully charged.

*Not all charging glass chargers are compatible across handles that came with a charging glass. Be sure to use the charger that came with your toothbrush.

Follow these instructions on how to charge your toothbrush with a travel case.
Place the toothbrush handle in the travel case
Connect a mini USB cable from the travel case to the USB adapter or a laptop
Some models come with a build in USB cable which is located at the bottom of your travel case.

The battery indicator will start flashing white or green to indicate that your toothbrush is charging. It will stop flashing when your toothbrush is fully charged. This can take up to 24 hours.

The battery indicator stops flashing and turns solid white when your toothbrush is fully charged

#2 How to use my Philips Sonicare Toothbrush with braces ?

Instructions to brush your teeth wearing braces
Wet the bristles of the brush head
Apply a small amount of toothpaste
Place the bristles against your teeth at a 45° angle
Press the power button to start brushing
First, brush above the brackets. Then below the brackets
Finally, clean between your braces with a circular motion
Please do not force the bristles into the gaps of your braces.

#3 How to clean my Philips Sonicare Toothbrush?

Daily cleaning after each use
Rinse your brush head and bristles to remove toothpaste and food particles.
Wipe the entire surface of the handle with a damp cloth
Weekly cleaning
Remove the brush head
Rinse the bottom of the brush head with warm water
Rinse the metal shaft area with warm water
Wipe the entire surface of the handle with a damp cloth
Note: Never use the dishwasher to clean your toothbrush, brush head or charger.
Do not push on the rubber seal around the metal shaft with sharp objects, as this may cause water damage.

#4 How often can I use my Philips Sonicare toothbrush per charge?

To ensure your battery is fully charged, leave it on the charger up to 24 hours before using Philips Sonicare toothbrush. To avoid an empty battery, you can always leave your toothbrush on the charger between brushings.
Operating time for each toothbrush
The operational time is generally between 2-3 weeks per full charge. This is based on two, 2 minute brushing sessions per day. Battery life varies by model. Please refer to the battery status section of the user manual on the product support page for your specific handle.
