Turning on
^ To light the burner, press the corresponding burner control
knob and turn it counterclockwise to the largest flame
symbol.
Pressing a burner control knob automatically generates a
spark at all burners on the cooktop. This is normal and
does not indicate a faulty appliance.
^
When a flame is visible, keep the burner control knob
pressed for5-10seconds, then release it.
^
If the flame goes out prematurely, turn the burner control
knob to "ß". Air out the room or wait at least 1 minute before
attempting to reignite. You may have to keep the burner
control knob pressed a little longer.
^
If the burner does not ignite even at the second attempt,
turn the burner control knob to "ß" and and see "Frequently
asked questions".
