Opening
Press button on the remote control for
approx. 1 second.
Panic mode
You can trigger the alarm system if you find
yourself in a dangerous situation.
Press button on the remote control for
at least 3 seconds.
To switch off the alarm: press any button.
Switching on the headlamp courtesy
delay feature
Briefly press the button on the remote
control.
Set length of time, refer to page 99.
Replacing the battery
1.
Remove the integrated key from the re‐
mote control, refer to page 38.
2. Place the integrated key underneath the
battery compartment cover, arrow 1, and
lift the cover with a lever movement of the
integrated key, arrow 2.
3. Using a pointed object, press battery in di‐
rection of arrow and lift it out.
4. Insert a type CR 2450 battery with the pos‐
itive side facing up.
5. Press the cover closed.
Have old batteries disposed of by a
dealer’s service center or another
qualified service center or repair shop
or take them to a collection point.
New remote controls
New remote controls are available from a deal‐
er’s service center or another qualified service
center or repair shop.
Blocking remote controls
A lost remote control can be blocked by a deal‐
er’s service center or another qualified service
center or repair shop.
