Clutch System
Refer to Safety Precautions on page 76.
Clutch adjustment may be required if the ATV stalls when shifting
into gear, if it tends to creep, or if the clutch slips, causing
acceleration to lag behind engine speed.
Inspection
Check freeplay at the clutch lever/parking brake lever (1).
Freeplay:
3/8 – 13/16 in (10 – 20 mm)
If necessary, adjust to the specified range.
Improper freeplay adjustment can cause premature clutch wear.
