Caring for Your Microwave Oven
To make sureyour microwave oven looks good andworks well for a long time,you should
maintain itproperly. For proper care, pleasefollow these instructionscarefully.
For interior surfaces: Wash often with warm, sudsy
water and a sponge or
softcloth. Use only mild,
nonabrasive soaps or a
milddetergent. Be sure
to keep the areas clean
where the door and
oven frame touch
when closed, Wipe well
with cleancloth.
Overtime, stains can
occur on the surfaces asthe resultof food particles
spattering dudng cooking.This is normal.
For stubborn soil, boil a cup of water in the ovenfor 2
ta 3 minutes. Steam will
softenthe soil. To gel,rid
ofodors inside theoven,
boila cup ofwatar with
some lemonjuice or
vinegar in it.
To usec4the metal reck:
The metal rack gives you extra space when cooking
in more than one container atthe same time.
1. Place rack securely in thefour plastic supports.
•Rack must not touch metal walls or back of
microwave oven.
2. Place equal amounts offood both above and
below rack,
To avoid risk cffpropertydamage:
1. Do not.cookwith rack on floor of the oven.
2. Use the metal rack when cooking equal amounts
offood at.the same time.
3. Do not.use rack to pop popoom.
4. Rack must be on the four plasticsupports when
used.
For exterior surfaces and
control panel:Use a soft
clothwith spray glass
cleaner.Apply the spray
glass cleanerto the soft.
cloth;do notspray
directlyon the oven.
NOTE: Abrasive
cleansers, steelwool
pads,gritty wash
cloths,some paper
towels, etc,, can
damage the control panel and the intedor and exterior
oven surfaces,
To clean glass tray and support, wash in mild,
