4. Use Guide

4.1 Charging the Headset

  1. Connect the provided Micro-USB cable to the charging port on the headset.
  2. Connect the other end of the cable to a USB power source (e.g., computer USB port or USB wall adapter).
  3. The headset will charge. A full charge takes approximately 3.5 hours.

4.2 Power On / Off & Pairing

Controls: The headset has a Multifunction (MF) button and separate Volume Up/Down buttons.

  • To Power On: Press and hold the MF button until the indicator light turns on (or you hear a power-on prompt).
  • To Enter Pairing Mode: Ensure the headset is powered off. Then press and hold the MF button until the indicator light flashes rapidly (typically red and blue alternating). The headset is now discoverable by your Bluetooth device.
  • To Power Off: Press and hold the MF button until the indicator light turns off (or you hear a power-off prompt).

4.3 Connecting to a Device

Via Bluetooth (Phones, Tablets, Bluetooth-enabled PCs):

  1. Enable Bluetooth on your device.
  2. On your device, search for available Bluetooth devices.
  3. Select "JBT800" or a similar name from the list.
  4. If prompted, confirm pairing. The headset indicator will typically become solid or slow-blinking once connected.

4.4 Wearing the Headset

  1. Adjust the retractable headband by pulling the earcups apart to fit your head size comfortably.
  2. Rotate the microphone boom to the side of your face (left or right ear) as preferred.
  3. Bend the microphone boom so the mic is positioned approximately 1-2 inches from the corner of your mouth for optimal voice pickup.

4.5 During a Call (Phone Functions)

  • Answer a Call: Press the MF button once.
  • End a Call: Press the MF button once.
  • Reject a Call: Press and hold the MF button for about 2 seconds.
  • Adjust Volume: Press the Volume Up (+) or Volume Down (-) buttons.
  • Redial Last Number (Functionality may vary): Quickly press the MF button twice when not on a call.

Note: Call control functions (answer/end/reject) are specified as working with phones. Functionality with computers/softphones may depend on the software being used.
