Parts and Controls

The headset features the following main controls:

Charging the Headset

Pairing with a Device

1. Ensure the headset is charged.
2. Press and hold the Multi-Function Button for about 5 seconds until the blue indicator light flashes rapidly (pairing mode).
3. On your smartphone, tablet, or computer, enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
4. Select "JBT100" from the list of discovered devices.
5. If prompted, confirm the pairing. A voice prompt or solid blue light indicates a successful connection.

Basic Operations

• Answer a Call: Press the Multi-Function Button once.
• End a Call: Press the Multi-Function Button once.
• Reject a Call: Press and hold the Multi-Function Button for about 2 seconds.
• Redial Last Number: Double-press the Multi-Function Button when not on a call.
• Mute/Unmute Microphone: Press the dedicated Mute Button during a call. (Note: Mute function is currently supported on mobile phones only).
• Activate Voice Assistant (Siri/Google Assistant): Press and hold the Mute Button for about 2 seconds when connected.

Wearing and Adjusting

Extend the headband to fit over your head. The shape-memory metal band will conform to your head size. Position the earcup over your ear, ensuring the microphone boom is angled towards your mouth for optimal noise cancellation performance.

Care and Maintenance

• Clean the earcups and headband with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use liquids or abrasive cleaners.
• Store the headset in a dry place when not in use.
• The headset is rated IP54 for dust and water resistance. It is protected against splashes from any direction but is not submersible. Do not charge the headset if it is wet.
• Use only the provided or certified USB Type-C cable for charging.

Troubleshooting

• Headset won't turn on: Charge the headset fully.
Cannot pair with device:
• Ensure the headset is in pairing mode (blue light flashing rapidly).
• Move the headset and device closer together during pairing.
• Reset the headset (see below) and try pairing again.
• Poor call quality or background noise: Ensure the microphone boom is positioned close to your mouth. The noise cancellation is optimized for this position.
• Headset not connecting to a previously paired device: Turn the device's Bluetooth off and on again, or delete "JBT100" from your device's Bluetooth list and re-pair.

Resetting the Headset

To clear all pairing records and restore factory settings:

1. Ensure the headset is on.
2. Press and hold the Multi-Function Button for 3 seconds.
3. Release the button when you see the blue indicator light flash rapidly three times. The reset is complete.
