GE - General Electric PGB945SEF2SS Questions and Answers

#1 Could I use the bridge burner with the other 2 left burners when using an over sized pan, such as roasting pan when I am making gravy and want to have heat reaching as much of my pan as possible.

Thanks for your interest! The left front and left rear round burners of the bridge burner can be operated individually for cooking. Operation of the bridge burner to heat your Preseasoned Chef’s Griddle requires use of both front and rear burner knobs. See page 11 of the owner's manual at the following link:
http://products.geappliances.com/MarketingObjectRetrieval/Dispatcher?RequestType=PDF&Name=49-85211-4.pdf

The center round burner is ideal for delicate foods and sauces.

Thanks for checking with us!

#2 What kind of pots/pans can you use on the back left "bridge" burner? Not the full griddle with the front and back burners but only the back half of the griddle. Will it only accommodate irregular shaped pans?

The bridge burner should only be used when using it as a griddle burner. If you are only using the back burner, you would not light the griddle middle burner portion.

I hope this helps!

#3 The flame around the tri-ring 19,000 BTU burner is higher on one side than the others when on full flame. The orifices with three in the triangle are different. Two of the orifices are 101N and the third is a 114N(higher flame). Is this right?PCB940SEF2SS.

When on natural gas, these are the correct orifices. It is normal for the flame on one side to be a little higher.

I hope this helps! Thanks for checking with us!
