Before Using Your Appliance for the First Time
Safety of the burners:
❑ All hotplate burners are secured in such a
way that the gas feed is interrupted when
the flame is extinguished.
This is done thermoelectrically.
❑ If the hotplate burners are on, there is a
hissing noise.
Preliminary cleaning:
1. Clean the appliance exterior with a soft
moistened cloth.
Selection of the cooking pots and their
arrangement:
Correct!
❑ Always place pot in the middle of the
hotplate burner.
❑ Use only pots and pans with a flat
bottom.
❑ Select pot diameter to match the hotplate
burner (see table).

❑ Pot diameter too small.
❑ Hotplate burner flame burns beyond the
bottom of the pots.
