- switch off the ignition (STOP
position),
- removethekey,
- putthekeybackintheignition,
- switchontheignitionandstart.

Fuel used for Diesel engines
TheDieselenginesarecompatiblewith
biofuelswhichconformtocurrentand
future European standards (Diesel fuel
whichcomplieswithstandardEN590
mixedwithabiofuelwhichcomplies
with standard EN 14214) available at
thepumps(containingupto7%Fatty
AcidMethylEster).
B30 biofuel can be used in certain
Dieselengines.However,thisuse,
even occasional, requires strict
application of the special servicing
conditions.ContactaCITROËNdealer
oraqualiedworkshop.
The use of any other type of (bio)
fuel(vegetableoranimaloils,pure
ordiluted,domesticfuel...)isstrictly
prohibited(riskofdamagetothe
engineandfuelsystem).
If you run out of fuel, it is necessary to
primethefuelcircuit.
- Fillthefueltankwithatleastve
litresofDiesel.
- Squeezeandreleasethemanual
primingpump,underthebonnet,
undertheprotectivecover.
- Operate the starter until the engine
starts.
