Note: The washing machine must be
correctly installed and connected.

1. Connect the mains plug.
2. Turn on the water tap.
3. Open the door.
4. Check that the drum is completely
drained. Drain if necessary.
Switching on the appliance/
selecting a programme
Press the # button. The appliance is
switched on.
The Î Cottons programme set at the
factory is then always displayed.
The current settings and programme
information light up at full brightness
and the display flashes.
The settings that can be selected light
up at half brightness.
Notes
Temporary flashing of the displayä
informs you to run the programme
äDrum Clean î or any other
programme soon at a washing
temperature of at least 60 °C.
If the w 3 sec display flashes, the
childproof lock is active.
You must deactivate this first before
you can change settings or start the
programme. ~ Page 32
In appliances with a drum light:
The drum is lit after switching on the
appliance, after opening and closing the
door and after starting a programme.
The light switches off automatically.

To change the current settings, touch
the button you require on the control
panel and the relevant indicator will
switch to full brightness.
You can change Finish in-time by
touching N or M.
