TROUBLE POSSIBLE CAUSE
Not enough heat.
Too much heat.
No steam is
being produced
or there is a
leakage.
No shot of
steam or no
vertical steam.
Leaking water
from soleplate.
Too little steam.
No water spray.
POSSIBLE SOLUTION
The iron is unplugged from mains
power.
The temperature dial has not
been rotated from “0” position.
The temperature dial has not
been rotated to desired setting.
Check that the plug is
connected to mains power.
Check that the power switch at
power outlet is on.
Check that the temperature dial
is in correct setting.
Check that the temperature dial
is in correct setting.
Allow the appliance to cool down
after changing the setting from
high to lower temperature.
Set the dial to a higher
temperature setting.
Fill with water per instructions.
Continue ironing in horizontal
position and wait a while before
using the (vertical) shot of steam
function again.
Set the temperature dial as per
steam range.
Open steam only after the tempera-
ture indicator light goes out.
Pour out the excess water. Use
caution as the water may be hot.
Set the steam control switch to
the correct position.
Clean steam holes using cotton tip,
moistened with distilled water.

TROUBLESHOOTING
Troubleshoot your problem by using the chart. If the iron still does not operate
correctly, it may be defective.
