P Mode
Shooting Close-ups (Close-up)

● Take close-ups of owers or other small
objects to enlarge them in your shots.
● To make small things appear much larger,
use a macro lens (sold separately).
● Check the minimum focusing distance
of the attached lens to determine how
close to subjects you can shoot. The lens
minimum focusing distance is measured
from the [ ] (focal plane) mark on the
top of the camera to the subject.

● Lenses named with “STM” support
continuous focus adjustment as you
shoot continuously. In continuous
shooting with other lenses, the focus is
determined initially, when you press the
shutter button halfway.
Shooting Evening Scenes without
Using a Tripod (Handheld Night

● Beautiful shots of evening scenes or
portraits with evening scenery in the
background, without the need to hold the
camera very still (as with a tripod).
● A single image is created by combining
