- This appliance is not washable. Never immerse the
appliance in water, nor rinse it under the tap.
Do not use the shaver, the mains cord or any -

Always replace a damaged mains cord or part
with one of the original type.
Never use compressed air, scouring pads, abrasive -
cleaning agents or aggressive liquids such as petrol
or acetone to clean the appliance.

The shaver is equipped with an automatic voltage -
selector and is suitable for mains voltages ranging
from 100 to 240 volts.

Preparing for use
Inserting the batteries
The appliance operates on two R6 AA 1.5-volt
alkaline batteries. Preferably insert new Philips
alkaline batteries to get optimal shaving performance.
Make sure that your hands are dry when you
insert the batteries.
