    Intermittent problem. Power light flashes and iron won't heat up. Why?

    Has anyone ever replied to the question about the blinking light. Barely a month old and won't work, customer service is non existent.

    I have plugged the iron in. The red “on” light on the top (on the handle) is just blinking (rather than on steadily), and the iron is not working. Is it possible to find out what might be going wrong? Many thanks.

    Why has my steam iron stopped working? Model 20630. With tank full of water, steam selected off and temp set low: when I plug and switch on, the red safety light constantly flashes red and the sole plate fails to heat up.
