To remove the freezer drawer, pull the freezer drawer out fully. Tilt up the rear of the bin and lift it out to remove it.
After unplugging my unit , because the ice maker was frozen solid a day later the ice thawed and we cleaned the ice bucket and placed it back into the freezer. We then plugged the refrigerator back in and the control panel lights up blinking 40 and C. None of the other buttons work or respond to my touch ??
40C means you have an issue with the ice room fan. To reset the error, press and hold the FREEZER and FRIDGE buttons together for 10 seconds. If the error comes back, please contact your nearest service center.
The lights in the double door cold storage area don't light up when the doors open. The lights in the cold storage drawer and freezer come on when opened. If unplugged, the lights in the cold storage area come on but go off after 5 min. However, lights will not come on if doors opened after 5 min -unless unit is unplugged again.
