    To adjust the volume of the microphone, rotate the microphone volume knob. To adjust the gain of the wired microphone, rotate the GAIN control beside the microphone socket respectively.

    JBL PartyBox can be used while plugged in. There's no harm in using the unit while it is connected to a power source.
