How long should the self clean take? Are all lights supposed to be flashing during the self clean?
It takes approximately one hour to run Self-Clean on a top load washer.
No, all lights are not supposed to be flashing during the Self-Clean cycle. After 20 washing cycles, the Self-Clean LED reminder icon and the Self-Clean cycle LED will blink on the control panel for an hour and then turn off automatically.
where is the pump filter located
The pump filter is only available on the front load washers, this top load washer does not have a pump filter.

You can disable the child lock by pressing and holding both the "Temp" and "Water Level" buttons at the same time for about 3 seconds. Also, the washer does have a feature that allows you to open the lid to add or remove items in the washer.
