I'm having a problem with the self propelled unit , it stays engaged, I m working on it now where I have the self propelled unit removed from the lawn mower and I'm doing my troubleshooting and I see that the cable is fine where it moves freely , I lubricated it with WD 40 and I spun the gear box works fine ,as I see the drive gears move freely , is there a tension spring that possibly came off that tensions the.gearbox ?, I cannot find one on the parts list , can you help me with this as I'm getting my Powersmart PSM 2521 SR lawn mower ready for the season
My Power smart PDM2521SR will not start. When I pull on the starter cord the cord goes all the way to its end. It is like it is not turning the engine over. When I pull the cord there is no resistance until it gets to the very end.

I just purchased the mower from amazon. It was extremely hard to crank, but I finally got it started. I moved approximately 20 and it cut off. I cannot not get it restarted. Tes, I put oil and gas in prior to starting the mower .
I purchased this mower from Wal Mart on line one month ago, since then the drive belt has broke along with the cable that engages the transmission . Where can I purchase replacement parts.
