  • My washer only works on the bulky item setting. Any idea why this would be?

    This is certainly not a normal operation. If you haven't already, we recommend resetting the washer by either unplugging it for 2-3 minutes or by resetting the circuit breaker. If this does not resolve the issue, service is needed. You can contact GE Appliances by calling the service department directly at 1-800-432-2737.

    Belt site please

  • My machine washes but gets to last spin cycle and it won’t spin. Kind of makes a clicking noise. Please help it’s only five years old.

    The washer is not equipped with a removable filter.

    I can’t get it to fill. The lights go on and after a few seconds go off. Help

    Please disconnect power to the unit for two to three minutes. This will reset the electronic components and hopefully restore normal functioning. Should the issue persist, please contact GE Appliances Consumer Service at 1-800-432-2737 for assistance.

    washer does nothing only door locks and unlocks

    When a washer lid keeps locking, unlocking, or clicking, the problem could be anything from a faulty lid lock to a failing lid lock sensor. Replacing the lid lock, latch, or sensor may solve the problem.
