How do you open the battery compartment?
There are two recessed areas on either side of the handle just behind the trigger area. You can use your thumb and forefinger to grip the battery compartment cover in order to pull it off. The cover will open, hinged at the bottom.
If you cannot see the laser, is the thermometer still working?
No. There is a button on the face of the Lasergrip that turns the laser on and off. Please activate the laser by pushing the laser button or remove the battery to reset it.
