Need scale gague for the belvel

  • Looking for the miter lock handle, Kobalt says not available to buy a new saw.

  • Send an email to [email protected]. They'll have to reach out to manufacturer, but you should be able to get it through them. I broke my miter lock handle accidentally after only having the saw for 2 months and using it on 1 project. They also initially told me I needed to replace the saw so I told them I'd never buy another Kobalt tool or shop at Lowe's again if they tried to force me to buy another $300+ dollar saw when the part that needed fixing was probably >$10. I don't have the part yet, but am in contact with the manufacturer.

I'm looking for a saw guide for the 10" Kobalt miter saw guide plate.1413794. Will another guide work?

  • I’m looking for a saw guard for the 10” Kobalt Miter Saw. I called Kobalt today for the the model manufactured in 11/2015. It does not have the model number on the saw!, so I went with the model SM2507LW. The part number is 34H1. Kobalt does not list it on their replacement parts, although they see it on the schematic diagram. Will the saw guard from the SM2517LW fit?

  • Old post but here is my thoughts, Kobalt and lowes does a horrible job on replacement parts. Misplaced the stamped metal lower blade guard guide, no replacements. Kobalt does not make any replacement parts for any of their products. I even looked up the random Taiwanese company that made the saw, and contacted their US office, no help at all, They make conveyor belts for industrial use, the Kobalt saw was a side gig that they don't support. All of the Kobalt products are this way. Save yourself frustration and buy a Dewalt, Rigid or any of the other brands that offer support for their products

I had forgotten I even posted that question. I found a replacement part and saw is back in action. How did I find it? Has been too long and don’t recall now.
