Does this model have a fuel filter? Replaced spark plug, used Sea Foam to treat fuel and still will not start. Only 3 years old. Also replaced air filter and changed oil. What could be the problem.
There is no fuel filter, but there is a small outlet screen inside of the fuel tank that acts as a filter. The screen is inside of the gas tank right at the fuel outlet port. If you shine a light in the tank while it's empty, you can see it.
Which is correct oil for this mower: 5w30, 5w20, or 10w30?
Please use a 10w-30 oil weight engine oil.

The oil drain plug is missing,unless the oil drain and oil filler hole is the same thing.
For this model, the oil must be drained from the top oil fill tube. This can be done by tipping the mower or using a siphon pump.
Starts but dose no stay running
A full gas tank and oil reservoir are the essential first steps when checking why the lawn mower won’t stay running, but the problem could also be a dirty filter, clogged carburetor, improper fuel mixture, or a dirty spark plug.
The spark plug is Briggs and Stratton part number BS-692051.
It has always started after about 4 pull, but now it won't start at all.
Where is the engine oil drain plug located?
The oil drain opening is under the mower. You need to tip the mower on its side the plug is right under the oil measuring stick.

Do not mix the oil with gas. You will damage the engine. There is a separate opening for the gas and a separate opening for the oil. Only use 4 cycle engine oil.

Why is oil leaking from around the primer button?

The M100 mower is a side discharge and mulching mower only. It does not come with a grass bag, you can only use a side discharge bagger with it. The side discharge bagger you can use is part number OEM-190-110.

The M100 engine is not an auto choke.
what is part# for gas cap
The part number for the fuel cap is BS-596250.
My lawnmower has only been used once. Now it won't start. The cord is stuck. I checked oil and gas and air filter and spark plug
The reason the cord got stuck is because the handlebar hasn't been pulled out far enough. The bottom of the handlebar is blocking the blade, under the deck, from turning. In order to fix this, you'll need to loosen the wing nuts at the base of the handlebars, pull out the handlebars a few more inches and then retighten the wing nuts. Those handlebars need to be clear of the mowing blade.
How do I get the mulching off ? M 100
This mower has mulching capability already installed on it. The blade was designed for mulching, and one must simple close the lid on the chute door to allow mulching.
