    Just unplugged it and pushed the grill back in was able to get it working.

    There is a metal pin on the inside of the lid on the right side. This pin detects if the lid is shut. I cleaned the pin with some dishwashing soap to remove grease and now the grill can tell when the lid is shut.

    Can you turn off or turn down the volume on the beep.

    You can turn off the air fryer sound by going to the options menu and lowering the volume of the beeps.
