Just purchased this today , removing the tape , the plastic button popped off , it does not want to stay in. the spring is there, button does snap
It looks like the button assembly may have been damaged or misaligned during packaging or shipping. The button should snap securely into place with the spring; if it doesn’t, the retaining tabs may be broken or misaligned. We recommend returning/exchanging it with the retailer where you purchased it. Andis also covers this model with 12-month manufacturer’s warranty, please contact Andis customer support for repair or replacement if returning isn’t possible.
