    My ice maker quite making ice so I cleaned it real good made sure the water line wasn't plugged the water collection tray is in the back position therefore no water collects in the tray the water pump is working it's like it out of timing how do I get it back in sync model #HZB-12H

    Why do I get black stuck in my ice water even after I've cleaned and dried my maker?

    If you notice black residue inside your ice maker, this is often caused by mineral build-up inside the machine. Even when using filtered water, small amounts of minerals can still accumulate over time. We recommend the following to help maintain your ice maker and remove mineral residue:

    1. Increase the frequency of the cleaning cycles performed.
    2. Run the cleaning cycle weekly with a mild bleach solution to sanitize the unit.
    3. Run a cleaning cycle monthly with vinegar to remove mineral deposits and to limit build-ups over time.

    If the issue continues, it may need service.
