Does this model convert the voltage down from 240v to 110v? I bought mine last year and used it in England. My wife plugged in her curling iron, and it blew the fuses in our hotel room. We haven't used it since. We are going to Antigua this week, where they use 230v I believe. Thank you.
This device does not convert power from 220 volts to 110 volts or vice versa. It is simply an adapter so your higher-voltage devices may not work.
It is only to adapt our U.S. plugs to other countries but be aware that the U.S. only provides 110/120 volts.
