What is a sulfated battery?
A sulfated battery has a buildup of lead sulfate crystals and is the number one cause of early battery failure in lead-acid batteries.
Every battery I try to charge the charger says SUL trying to find out why this battery charger does that and what I need to do, thank you.
SUL means the charger has detected a sulfated battery.
The charger will go into desulfation mode. If the desulfation is not successful after 10 hours, the charger will go into abort mode.
