How to remove the gas tank
To remove the gas tank, first ensure the engine is cool and the fuel is drained. Then, disconnect the fuel line, loosen the plastic engine cover if it obstructs access. The tank is secured by mounting clips with protrusions that snap into mower housing slots. Gently press or pry these clips inward to release the tank without breaking them. Avoid forcing the tank off to prevent damage.
