    I have programmed the remote, the power works to the TV but the buttons on the side for the volume do not work…will power off the TV. I reprogrammed it several times and same thing. Don’t like!!!!!

    There is no customer support for this product. Phone number is disconnected. The answer is no...you cannot program it without the originals being totally fuctional.
